I am always getting asked about the pictures of celebrities on the what's new page. The truth is that I was in the music industry for 25 years and part of my job was to let up and coming artists be nice to me (somebody's got to do it).Anyway, I have dug out some of my old photos and since I needed to catalog them anyway I added some to Blues Cat Alley. Doing the Blues Cat Journal every week can get boring sometimes and so once when I was really bored I created a bobhead and stuck it in the journal. It became sort of an in thing and the band started looking forward to see what bobheads were in the journal each week. So look at any of the journal pages for the last few months and see if you can find all of the bobheads. Good Luck! |

I guess Jeff was getting jealous of me meeting all
of these cool chicks, so he decided to tag along for the RED
"Freq" party. We not only met another cool chick, Michal, but we
also got down and dirty with Del tha Funky Homosapian.
Michal was very cool indeed. She backed herself with some very tasty piano playing, and she even had a cello player to take it to another dimension. It was a nice listening experience and we wish her the best. Her album is called "Sky with Stars" and it should be out in about a month. Del is one cool dude, and he can sure bust a rhyme. He reminded us all to wash our ass, or else we gonna be funky. Anyway, Jeff and I both liked Del a lot, and we found it impossible not to tap our feet while he was bustin'. Thanks to RED for a wonderful party! |

Here is a picture of a very happy Bass player / Webmaster with Jessica Simpson. Jessica recently had the number 1 selling single in the country for 6 straight weeks. The party ended when her dad jerked me away and smashed my head into the door jamb. |

Blues Cat would like to thank all of our fans for suggesting so many great names for our CD. There is still a little time left to try and blow our mind with the purrrfect title. The contest ends Jan. 31st.Progress on the CD has slowed down a bit, due to the holidays. Also, post production costs are rising rapidly. We are now expecting to release the CD sometime in mid to late March.In the meantime, check the web site often as we will preview some of the music from the CD as soon as we have a final mix. |

We are in the middle of recording our first CD. We have the rhythm tracks done, and now we are ready to do some overdubs and lay down the final vocal tracks.
The problem is that we still don't have a title for our CD. We thought that you might want to help us out, and for your trouble, you just might win a t-shirt and a CD.

Chasing Away the Blues-On
October 10th, Blues Cat and The Breeze Kings will be
participating in an event for the National Mental Health Association of
Georgia. It will be at the Mill Brewery and Eatery located at the corner
of 10th and Monroe.
