The Blue Sky Tavern Rocks!
We had a great time Friday night.
This is really a cool club, even if it is in McDonough, Ga.
The staff here are not only the
friendliest and most beautiful we have worked with, they are also the
most talented. Stella rocked the house when she sat in with Blues Cat.
She sang Red House & Before You Accuse Me, and she nailed 'em.
Stella is welcome to sit in with us anytime.
The people of McDonough turned
out to be as friendly as the staff. They are what made playing here so
much fun.
The only sour note came when we
were leaving, and Tim pulled his car up to the curb to load his amp. A
ding-a-ling cop showed up and wrote him a warning ticket for being a
fire hazard. Sparks occasionally fly when Tim's playing guitar, but
without his guitar Tim couldn't light a cigarette. Anyway, you can't
argue with a ding-a-ling cop without making things worse, so after a
minor confrontation Tim accepted his ticket and the rest of us went
inside and chilled.

Saturday night was a little disappointing. We
were hoping for a big crowd, but either it was too hot, or there was a
pig roast somewhere, or something.
Anyway, we still had a great time, and
everyone that did show up had a great time too.
Randy showed up and played drums on a few
tunes, and Stella sat in again and amazed us all by singing her
beautiful ass off. Which reminds me, Stella isn't the only talented girl
at Blue Sky. Kara can drive the crowd wild just by standing on the
stage. I've never seen a Blues Cat sticker look so good.

By the end of the night, all the girls were on
the bar dancing, and the house was rockin'!
