Week Of 7/26/1999

Last Week

Brewsters

3595 Canton Hwy.
Marietta, Ga.
(770)591-1291

As expected, we had a great time at Brewsters Friday night. Randy Dorris sat in for Mark on drums, and he did a wonderful job as usual.

Jethro showed up, but he was a kinder & gentler Jethro. This was a good thing, because the Hellcats were there as well, and I don't think that they would put up with Jethro's sh*t.

Everyone had a good time, not to mention good food. I hear that the all-u-can-eat African Crab Legs are incredible, but by the time we finish playing, they are usually all gone.

Another reason for going to Brewsters are the Flower Girls. We play a lot of places where Flower Girls show up, but the girls that work Brewsters are the best. By the way, if you need some flowers, I've got a slew of 'em. I keep buying them just so I can talk to the Flower Girls. Call me at 555-STUPID.

Anyway, Brewsters Rocks! Check it out for yourself!

Fat Matt's Rib Shack

1811 Piedmont Rd.
Atlanta,Ga.
(404) 607-1622

Terry Dorris did a great job playing drums with us Sunday night. His ole man better watch out, or he might lose his gig as our favorite substitute drummer.

We were glad to see our friends (who don't work at Jelly Rolls) there again. You meet the best people at Fat Matts!

We won't be back here until September, so you have plenty of time to work up a big appetite for ribs & blues. In the meantime you're welcome to come and hang out with us at our other gigs.

Thanks again, Terry!

Blue Sky Tavern

650 Macon St
Mcdonough, Ga.

(770) 914-7787

This is a new place for us, and who knows what to expect? It's beyond the southside, which is kind of scary, but at the very least it should be an experience.

We would very much like to see some familiar faces in the audience. So, if you're brave enough, come on down and party with us.
