Friday was our best night at Brewsters so far.
It just keeps getting better. A lot of our friends showed up, like Lucy
& Rob, and John Denver (it's him, really!) and his beautiful
wife. Connie, the winner of our contest, was there to collect her Blues
Cat t-shirt.
By the end of the night, Jeff was moving
tables to make room for all of the incredible dancers. By incredible, I
don't necessarily mean they were good dancers, I just mean they
were incredible. Everyone had a good time.
We are going to be at Brewsters a lot. They
are giving us wonderful place to play, and they are very supportive of
Blues Cat. We would really like to return the favor by introducing more
of our fans to this cool club. It's worth the drive! And if you live in
the Marietta area, you have no excuse. Brewsters is the place to party.
We will be back in a couple of weeks, but you
can go to Brewsters anytime and have fun, not to mention crab legs and
burgers and cold beer.

Joe and Cindy's Party
|
Now this was a freakin' party!
Joe and Cindy rolled out the red carpet for
their friends and for Blues Cat on Saturday night. They opened up their
beautiful home, and filled their backyard with goodies. Like great
Mexican food from El Toro, lot's of cold beer, Maria's very dangerous
margaritas, and of course, Blues Cat!
Jeff became Maria's assistant, delivering
margaritas to anyone without a drink in their hand. I'm sure this had
something to do with the way the party ended up. By midnight, when we
reluctantly had to stop, everyone was dancing.
Joe and Cindy's hospitality made it impossible
not to have a good time, and we are very grateful that they chose Blues
Cat to play for them.

Saturday night we're back at Irish Bred for
the second time.
There must be something in the water that
makes the people on the Southside party just a little harder, 'cause
they get crazy!
The thing that stands out in my mind, from the
first time we played there, is the wonderful staff. I think I fell in
love with 2 or 3 of the waitresses that night.
Anyway, the food is good , the beer is cold,
the people are friendly, and the waitresses are beautiful. So, come on
down and party with Blues Cat Southside style on Saturday night!
