| Whew! We made it! We got through another
year, and it was a good one. We lost Tim White and Mark Davison, but we
gained Greg Billingsley and Ben Marshall. We struggled to get out a
studio CD, but because of all the changes, we still have work to do. We
did record a live set at Fat Matt's that we are able to distribute to
our fans on a limited basis, and we have one track that will be on the
Fat Matt's anniversary CD.
Anyway, back to the Sports Cafe and New Year's Eve 2000. Once again Mike and Fred came to the rescue. They were able to simulcast us to the 4 big screen tvs behind the band. It gave us a real professional look and made it possible for everyone in the back of the packed house to enjoy Blues Cat. Thanks again, and again and again!!! We also want to thank the Affectionate Bastards for doing a very cool opening set Sunday night. And thanks to all the musicians that got up and jammed. It was a blast. I apologize for not taking more pictures, but I just sort of got caught up in the celebration. If anyone took pictures and e-mails them to me I will make a special page on the web site for them.
