Week of 12

11/30/1999	Darwins
This was our first time at Darwins, and as much as I would like to say that we had a great time, I cannot tell a lie. It really is a nice little blues bar, and some really cool bands play there, but Tuesday night only about 15 people showed up. Maybe it was because it was a school night, or perhaps it was because it was sooooo cold outside. Anyway, the people that did come were really nice, and we would especially like to thank Lucy for her support. Hopefully, the next time we play there it will be on a weekend. It is a pretty neat club so, if you get a chance, you should check it out.

12/03/1999	Brewsters
Probably because it was so cold on Tuesday night, when we got to Brewsters on Friday, Jeff was as sick as a dog. We still made it through 3 sets, and we had a real good time as usual. We want to thank Brewsters for letting us off early, especially since we had to be in the studio early Saturday morning. I'll tell you more about how it went in the studio later. Our t-shirt winner was present Friday night and that cost us a pitcher of beer. He turned out to be none other than John Denver. Congratulations! We will be back at Brewsters in two weeks, and we are going to rock their socks off to make up for this week. As of now we are off next week, although that could change. We are going to spend the time putting the finishing touches on what will be our first CD.
