We had a great crowd at Brewsters Friday
night, and as usual it was a lot of fun.
Here are the highlights:
-
Crab legs everywhere!
-
Legs showed up (with dude). We miss the
short black dress that she wore so often during the summer. Tonight
she wore overalls. We want to see Legs' legs!
-
Shania Twain was there. At least we think
it was her.
-
Lot's of Harleys were parked out front.
That always means that it's gonna be a good night.
-
The Lizard King was in the kitchen!
-
Flower Girls Rule!
-
We played "Blues Cat Show"( our
new original tune) for the first time in public.
Next week we will be at the Blue Sky Tavern
Friday & Saturday nights. This is also a very cool club, so get on
your Harleys a take a road trip to McDonough, Ga. We'll see you there!

Fat Matt's is still the best place to play
when you just want to have some musical fun. The audience is the most
supportive in the city, and they listen!
Randy Dorris sat in for Mark Sunday night, and
he did a wonderful job as usual. You tend to stay more alert when you
don't know if the drummer remembers how a song ends, and that makes
playing more fun. Especially with a drummer as good as Randy, who almost
always remembers how a song ends. Thanks a lot Randy...we'll see you
next weekend at the Blue Sky Tavern.
The prettiest girl on the planet was there
celebrating her 14th birthday, and she brought her family & friends
along to party with her, and these people know how to party. Their
enthusiasm infects the crowd at Fat Matt's, and it's always fun to play
when they're around.

...and there were lots of
beautiful young girls in skimpy little outfits looking for Arby!

Anyway, we've only got one more Sunday this
month, and we expect everyone to come out next week and celebrate with
us!
