| The Bayou Room is
one of our favorite places to play. This is a beautiful club with a big
stage, cool lighting and great sound.
Geoff was in Boston for a wedding this weekend, so John Tombyll sat in on drums for us. He did a wonderful job and we look forward to playing with him again. John picked a good weekend to play with us (see Lucy's party below). | Lucy Piller's Birthday Bash - 07/05/2003 | |

I believe that everyone who attended Lucy's party left knowing that they had experienced a very special day. Many of Atlanta's best musicians came to say thank you to Lucy for all the support she gives, and what resulted was one of the best jams that I have ever been a part of. The highlight for most of us was the chance to play with Simon Kirke of Bad Company. We enjoyed playing with Simon, not because he is a big rock star, but because he is an incredibly in the pocket drummer, and he is a quite nice gent as well. Simon also entertained us with some selections from his solo set on both keyboards and guitar, with some very enjoyable stories thrown in.
