I didn't get any
pictures Saturday night, so I'll just have to try and remember what
happened. It seems like it started out real slow, but by the end of the
night, it was rockin'.
We began with what we call our
dinner set, which works out real good if you're having beer for dinner.
It's hard for us not to rock. I mean we try to hold it back, but when it
starts gettin' good we're off to the races. Dinner sets are okay for
bands that don't feel what they're playing, but if we don't feel it,
it's gonna suck.
By the second set we were
cooking, and the crowd was picking up too. Lee and Hal from the band
Leebo were there (I think I'll call my next band Bobbo), and Bridgette,
and Christina, and Marc, and Angel, and Irving, and Lisa, and Michael,
and Mini-me, and a bunch of people who I don't know their names were
there also.
I'm somewhat concerned about
the previous sentence, but I'm gonna let it stand. There should be a law
against sixteen year old girls named Amanda. What? Oh, there is one?
Anyway, it turned out to be a really good night and we had a lot of fun.
As usual, after the gig we
headed down to the USA Diner to make the wait staff wish they had gone
to college.
We'll see you
next Saturday at the Sports Cafe! |

This
was our last night at Fat Matt's Rib Shack for a while, and we're going to
miss it. This is where we honed our craft, and we play here every chance
we get. With a little luck, we will be back here on Sundays in June.
As
you can see, people come to Fat Matt's to have a good time, and to eat
some great food. It's world famous! Sunday we picked up some new fans from
Ireland, and in the past we have met people from England, Denmark,
Argentina and a lot of other cool places, like Alaska.
Anyway,
we had a great time Sunday night, and we can't wait to get back here.
Check the web site to see when we are playing here next. |
