| Brewsters-04/07/2000 |
| |
The enthusiasm continues to build at Brewsters. Every week
the crowds get bigger and better. Here's a list of some of the cool
stuff from Friday night:
-
Lucy & Rob were there.
-
Mr. & Mrs. Denver came in a little late.
-
All four of our two new friends were there. (I know that this is
confusing, but if you come out to Brewsters next week you will
understand).
-
Both flower girls were there. If all girls looked like Tina, men's
pants would have to be designed differently.
-
Guy, from the Blue Pig, showed up after the gig. Check out their
jam session on Sunday when you get a chance.
-
Shania Twain's ass was there again, butt she didn't dance for us
Friday night. Maybe we'll get her up next week.
If you come out to Brewsters to party with us, we guarantee that you
will not only have a good time, but you will also have some great food,
and plenty to drink. You might even get a piece of ass! (it's a drink)

The crowd

We had a great time at the Sports Cafe
Saturday night, and as you can see from the pictures, so did the
people that came to party with us. Now that I have a digital
camera, no one is safe, and you can see the people that you have
been reading about. (this is not a substitute for coming out to a
gig and seeing us in person)!
Michael & Mini-me, the 16 year old
boy wonders, sat in for a few tunes, and they rocked the house. We
had a really good crowd, and we hope anyone that wasn't there went
to the Blue Sky Tavern's anniversary party. Next week the party's
over at Blue Sky, and we expect all of you to be at the Sports
Cafe Saturday night.

| Fat Matt's Rib Shack-04/09/2000 |

|
We had
another great Sunday night at Fat Matt's, and once again, we
have pictures to prove it.
Mike, Debbie & Lindsey Cowan were there. We can't thank
them enough for all of their support over the years. We want to
thank Lindsey especially, for making our cool tip jar, and for
having such beautiful eyes. Sorry about the back lighting in the
picture. I'm still learning how to use my camera.
Alex, who usually hangs out at Brewsters showed up. He didn't
have time to cook up any hot deals 'cause he was tearin' into a
rack of Fat Matt's incredible ribs.
A lot of people came by after attending the Atlanta Blues
Society event at the Tabernacle. Everyone said that they had a
real good time. We hope that it was a big success.
A group of singer-songwriters from Nashville dropped in.
Judging from the stuff that I heard, they are very talented, and
we wish them the best. |

Blues Cat Rocks the
Tabernacle!
|
|
Actually we were downstairs in the new Cotton Club
playing a private party for Robinson-Humphrey. Penn and Teller did
the big room upstairs. We had to watch our volume for the first
two sets, but after the show upstairs, they let us do our thing,
and it was a blast. |

| We had a little help from
our friends for this one. Kevin Thomas brought his Hammond
and piano for a reunion of sorts. Most of you remember that Kevin
was a member of Blues Cat for about a year and a half. It was
great to have him back for the show. |

| Also,
Stella House from the band Leebo was there. She not only
improved our appearance tremendously, but she tore the place apart
with her delightfully bluesy vocals. We want to thank both Kevin
and Stella, 'cause this gig would not have been near as much fun
without them. |

| We
also want to thank Mike and Eric for being Blues Cat
roadies for the night. They worked hard and made this a much
easier gig than it would have been without them. Thanks Guys!
I have more pictures, but if I put them here, this page might
take an hour to load.
