Blue Sky Tavern - 03/24/2001
|
| |
We were back at The Blue Sky Tavern this week, and we kind
of expected a let down because the last two gigs there were so special.
Well, we weren't let down. The crowd was wonderful and we had blast. We
may play our best at the Blue Sky because the sound is so good on stage
and the audience always pushes us to our limits. I didn't get any
pictures (if I had, you would have been impressed with all the pretty
girls that were there), so I'll revert to the way I did it B.C. (before
camera), and make a list of what I can remember.
- Uh, what's my name?
- The music was the best part of this gig. I hate to say it, but we
really sounded good.
- Greg got a new Paul Reed Smith guitar, and it has a great sound.
Don't worry, he will still be playing the Strat most of the time. At
least until he gets the new one set up the way he likes it.
- We will never get tired of autographing our new CD. Thanks
everyone!
- We had a couple of great jams with Michael "Storm" and
Kingfish. One of the reasons we like to play on the southside is
that we get a chance to play with these guys.
- This is gonna get boring without pictures so I'm gonna cut it
short. Brewsters next week and we will be back at the Blue Sky
Tavern April 14th for a big anniversary party. You don't want to
miss this one!
Thanks for wearing our shirts and listening to our CD.
