The Blue Pig
|
I guess everyone was waiting for the big
celebration on Friday night. There were only a handful of people at the
Blue Pig, and we had to throw one of them out.
Guy sat in with us on keyboards most of the
night, and it was a lot of fun to hear the Hammond sound once again.
...and a girl who is not really from France,
and who doesn't really sing the blues sat in on a couple of songs and
was really good. Thanks Sharon, and good luck with your music!(her
Mom sat in too, but that's another story)

New Years Eve 1999
|
Brewsters
|
Happy New Year
Brewsters played New Years Eve real
low key. But that was okay, because we had a small , but enthusiastic
crowd to party with. Everyone got real drunk!
We gave away t-shirts to whoever
told the funniest jokes. The best one was something about an Irish goat.
We are glad everything went so
well...no Y2K disasters, nobody jumping off buildings, no mass suicides,
and no one sang happy birthday to me on stage. (I
hate when that happens)
We will see you back at Brewsters
next year...it will be the place to party!

Fat Matt's Rib Shack
|
There is no better way to start out a new
millennium than by pigging out on some incredible ribs, and listening to
some cool blues. There is no better place for this than Fat Matt's Rib
Shack. It Rocks!
It was good to see some of the Blue Sky crew
Sunday night. It was just too bad that they arrived too late for Stella to
sit in with us. The crowd at Fat Matt's would have loved her. Maybe she
will show up again next week, or the next. We are at Fat Matt's every
Sunday this month. Don't miss it!
